Recruitment & Applications

Application Status: Closed

The recruitment cycle for the 2026–2027 academic year has concluded. We appreciate the high level of interest from across the university. To our future applicants: continue honing your craft, building your portfolios, and check back in Spring 2027 for our next recruitment kickoff.

A Cross-Functional Team of FSU Talent

Arrowhead Advertising is a multidisciplinary agency. We welcome students from every major at Florida State University—from Business and Communication to Psychology, English, and Fine Arts.

We look for enthusiastic, high-achieving individuals who are ready to commit to professional excellence. Successful candidates typically demonstrate:

  • Focus and desire with a proven track record through classwork, internships, or entrepreneurial ventures.

  • A body of work culminating in polished portfolio or resume that shows a commitment to their specific craft.

  • Strong academic standing (GPA), awards, and a dedication to their chosen area of study.

The Arrowhead Method: Collaborative Learning

Arrowhead is structured as a two-course sequence within the FSU School of Communication, led by Kelly Kelly, Ph.D. Our curriculum is natively centered around the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC), providing a living lab for integrated marketing communications.

Student-Led Leadership

The agency operates under a hierarchical structure led by a Student Team Captain and Directors. This model ensures that while the curriculum is faculty-guided, the output is entirely student-led—fostering the leadership skills required for the modern industry.

Specialized Agency Roles

Students are placed into specialized cross-functional groups that collaborate daily to produce a single, cohesive campaign:

  • Research & Insights: Uncovering the data that drives the strategy.

  • Strategy: Building the roadmap for brand success.

  • Creative & Design: Developing the visual and conceptual identity.

  • Public Relations: Managing the brand voice and earned media.

  • Media Planning: Strategizing the placement and impact of the campaign.
