We’re looking for enthusiastic people who want to work in the industry and who have demonstrated their desire and their focus through a body of work developed during classes, internships, extracurriculars, entrepreneurship, or other professional opportunities. Commitment to your chosen area of study is also important for consideration — i.e. GPA, accolades and awards.

Course Details

The advertising team is structured as a 6-credit, yearlong experiential course for students to compete in the National Student Advertising Competition — aka NSAC — sponsored by the American Advertising Federation.

The course's central focus is creating an integrated marketing communication campaign for a corporate sponsor to compete against more than 100 colleges and universities in a national competition.

 

Meet the Team

Students on Arrowhead are high achievers, tenacious learners, and creative thinkers. In 2024, we earned a first place award in the District 4 competition + Best Brand Installation and Best Research & Insight awards. We are one of 18 out of 103 competing schools to move onto semi finals. That round of the competition is May 2 and 3.

In 2023, we placed 2nd in the district for client Indeed, earning a Best Creative Award. Students also garnered a Silver Addy award for the integrated campaign. In 2022, Arrowhead placed 1st in the district for our work on the Meta Quest 2 campaign and won a student Silver Addy award for the campaign. In 2021, we finished in the semi-final round of the national competition, earning the Best Storytelling award for our campaign for dating app Tinder.
